He is a recipient of the National Honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) for his ground-breaking works in medicine, specifically the breakthrough in invitro fertilisation (IVF), the birth of the first nationally authenticated „test tube” baby born in Nigeria in 1998.
No wonder he became a consultant in 1992 at the prestigious Bourn Hall Clinic Cambridge, the world‟s first centre for IVF.
His passion for excellence in healthcare systems in Nigeria led him to found Nisa Premier Hospital where he set exemplary standard for healthcare service delivery, and earned Nisa the management and him the pioneer Medical Director of Garki Hospital Abuja, the first Public Private Partnership (PPP) hospital in Nigeria.
